Chef Cynthia B is a Bay Area chef with 40 years of experience. For decades, Cynthia has poured her heart and soul into the culinary world. Her career spans fine dining, teaching, catering, and leading gastronomic tours. Her latest venture, Whey On Wheels, is a mobile cheese and gourmet food business serving the San Francisco Bay Area, inspired by her discovery of the best cheeses in the world while hosting epicurean travel experiences.
Cynthia’s journey as a chef has never been just about food—it’s about bringing people together. Her love of food and wine has taken her around the world, learning, teaching, and sharing her craft with others. She’s taught classes, led culinary tours, developed homemade artisanal condiments, and supported countless food lovers in their journey to explore new flavors.
Then came COVID-19, and like so many in the industry, Cynthia lost everything. Her catering business was hit hard. But instead of giving up, she pivoted, creating online cooking and wine classes to stay connected with her community and support her business.
Determined to rebuild, she launched Whey On Wheels in 2022—a dream inspired by the iconic cheese trucks at French farmer's markets. This business brings artisanal cheese-based dishes to festivals, wineries, breweries, and local markets, sharing her deep knowledge and love for high-quality, local ingredients. But launching a small food business in the Bay Area is an uphill battle. Rising costs, unexpected business downturns, and market challenges have made it difficult to stay afloat.
Now, she needs our help.
Chef Cynthia is at a crossroads—without financial support, she may have to close Whey On Wheels before it even has a chance to thrive. With your help, we can:

Cynthia has always been the first to give back—donating her time and services to local food banks, youth programs, and technical training for disadvantaged communities. Now, it’s time to give back to her.
