Hello,

I am starting this go fund me for my best guy Cheeto. This guy has overcome a lot on his short life. Starting off with some deep tissue trauma from being left outside and a roll of tape being embedded into his body. He was helped by so many and was brought back to health and has lived a very happy life with his brothers and sisters who he loves and loves him.

since his new lease on life cheetoh has been a healthy and happy boy. Loving to run and play, scratch my couch and most of all play with about anything he can bat around the floor and get his paws on.

yesterday I noticed he was not himself. He was skinny ( a rapid decline ) and he was not well. He was taken to the ER immediately and diagnosed with hepatic lipidosis. Upon several exams and labs he was found to be otherwise healthy and they stated his condition was brought on by “not eating” and his body now using fat to burn for energy causing his rapid decline and overall lethargy and condition. He has no other Serious medical conditions underlying and it was stated to me by the best vet doctors that with treatment he can once again join his brothers and sisters and likely live a healthy life.

This doesn’t come without intervention that I did choose. He had a g tube placed and is tolerating it well. The doctor stated that with some supplemental nutrition he could likely with time return to his normal life. Due to there being not real underlying conditions that he was suffering from I chose to give him another chance because he is the best and most deserving guy.

I am not one to ask for help. And aside from my mom never have. But any help would be amazing. Thank you for reading and thanks for loving my guy!
