Our Kitten Cheetah Needed a $9,800 Life-Saving Surgery

Donation protected
Last week our 7 month old kitten Cheetah didn't come home as expected. When she hadn’t shown up after a couple of hours, we began a determined search. We found her wrapped in a tarp, apparently she had hid herself away to die. If it weren’t for the AirTag we had on her collar, we might never have found her.

She needed emergency, life-saving surgery.

The surgery was successful, and the biggest relief is that she’s expected to make a full recovery. But the cost of emergency care is overwhelming — $9,800, which is unfortunately typical for emergency surgery like this.

She means the world to us. She is the most snuggly cat we have ever had — the kind of kitten who melts into your arms and just wants to be close. She’s also endlessly playful and quick as a cheetah, darting around the house and turning everything into a game.

And we're not the only one who loves her. Her sister, Billie, is deeply bonded to her. The bond between them is incredibly special.

We’re so grateful she’s still here with us.

If you’re able to contribute anything toward her surgery, it would mean so much to us. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would help tremendously.

Thank you for helping us give this sweet, snuggly little fighter the chance to grow up, play with Billie, and keep filling our home with love.
