Support Chavo's Battle Against Cancer

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of our beloved 5-year-old poodle, Chavo. Recently, Chavo was diagnosed with cancer in his spine, with long term effects of potentially leaving him paralyzed from the waist down and uncertain future — a heartbreaking discovery for our family and everyone who knows him.

Chavo isn’t just a pet — he’s family. With his warm eyes, wagging tail, and endless love for pets and cuddles, Chavo has a special way of touching the hearts of everyone he meets. He’s the kind of dog who senses when someone needs comfort, who turns even the most skeptical person into a dog lover, and who radiates joy wherever he goes. His love is pure, his heart is kind, and his spirit is resilient.

Right now, Chavo is facing the biggest challenge of his life. Radiation therapy offers hope — it can slow the progression of the disease, and most importantly, give him more happy days filled with love, play, and tail wags.

We are seeking help to afford this treatment and any additional care that will enhance Chavo's quality of life. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his medical costs and helping him live comfortably, surrounded by the people who love him most.

Radiation therapy offers the best chance to give Chavo a longer life, full of tail wags, snuggles, and joy. The cost of full treatment, including radiation, imaging, and ongoing care, is estimated between $20,000 and $25,000. We're doing everything we can, but we can’t do this alone — we’re asking for help to get as close to that number as possible.
