Help Support My Study Abroad Journey to Berlin, Germany!

Hello Everyone,

My name is Chavarius “Showboat” Garrett, and I’m currently a student-athlete (football) at Midwestern State University. As I prepare for my senior year, I’m continuing my training and dedication to my team—but I’m also stepping into an incredible opportunity to grow academically, personally, and spiritually. During this trip, I also hope to spread the gospel abroad and reach souls for the Kingdom, which is something deeply important to me.

This semester, I was accepted into the prestigious Redwine Honors Program, one of the most respected academic programs at MSU and across the country! To complete the honors curriculum, one of the required elements is studying abroad—and I have been given the chance to do so in June 2026.

The total cost of this study abroad experience is $6,300. This amount covers:

Round-trip flight to Berlin, Germany

Tuition for the courses I’ll be taking abroad

My personal passport

Student adventure days and educational excursions planned by our Study Abroad directors

Reaching this goal will relieve a huge financial burden and allow me to fully participate in this life-changing opportunity while balancing my responsibilities as both a student and an athlete. Every contribution—no matter the size—brings me one step closer to making this dream a reality.
