In February of 2025, our beloved, wife, Mother, daughter and sister, received life altering news. she was diagnosed with stomach cancer. We could not understand how this had happened. Chastity was healthy and always tried to follow a healthy lifestyle. She didn't understand the why but said it's in God's hand. She still prayed, continued to make sure her house was in order and faithfully went to daily Mass. In the weeks that followed her journey became one of excruciating pain, sleepless nights, not being able to eat, doctor visits, emergency room visits with blood transfusions and through it all she tried to maintain a positive attitude. She was fighting this dreaded disease. At the end of July, four months after the devastating news, Chastity lost the ability to walk, eat or sleep. She still tried fighting but she was losing the battle. Family and friends continued praying for a miracle. On August 7th, she was admitted into the hospital and on August 10th, she was sent home on hospice. Many people came to visit during this time. On August 16, Chastity was called home to be with Her Lord and Savior. This has been a devastating loss for her husband and five children. Her husband left his job to care for her and her children put their lives on hold to care for their mother.
