Chase Riley, my little brother, and his father recently experienced a life-changing accident. Both were severely burned in a propane explosion on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026, in Chase’s recently acquired 1980’s RV. Chase suffered 3rd degree burns over almost 30% of his body—including his arms, hands, torso, legs, and face—which will require several skin grafts and multiple surgeries. Chase’s father was also severely burned and is currently hospitalized.
The explosion left them homeless.
Chase will be hospitalized and unable to work for months while he undergoes multiple surgeries and intense rehabilitation to rebuild basic use of his hands and body. This journey will test him in ways no one should have to endure, and our family is doing everything we can to support them through this unimaginable time. Chase now needs help with the basics—food, toiletries, medications, clothing, and even a phone to stay connected with loved ones. On top of that, they’re facing mounting medical bills, housing needs, and ongoing recovery costs.
We would be so grateful for any donation, no matter how small, to help ease their burden during this difficult time. If you are unable to donate, please share this page and keep them in your thoughts or prayers. Your support will make a real difference in his rehabilitation, and our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with them and assisting in his healing journey.
