Support Charming's Fight with IVDD

Hello my name is Charming. Actually my whole name is Prince Charming. My mom treats me like a prince too. I suffer from IVDD. This is very new to me and I'm very confused with what's happening with my body and all the new things that are going on in my life. It's so much. From one day to the next I was paralegic. I am going to need a lot of care. Also I will have to have surgery very soon. I have no feeling from the waist down. This means I have no control over my bladder or stomach to go to the restroom. It also means that I am confined to a pin for my own safety while I am sedated with medications prescribed by the veterinarian and given other medications for pain management as well as an anti-inflammatory. If you are not aware of what IVDD is please Google it. It is a very serious disease that I am affected by and I have the worst case scenario of this disease. There are so many things that I need. My mom has been working hard her whole life and had a savings account for emergencies. Well I became the emergency not me but my condition. It has almost cleaned her out completely with all of the medical doctor visits and treatments and medications and excess items that I need. Things as simple as an area rug, it's very important for me. because I have no feeling in my hindquarters and it makes it very easy for me to slide all over the place because I can't get a grip which makes it very dangerous and I could hurt myself and make my situation and condition even worse. I need a dog brace for IVDD as well, so that my back is not being bent the wrong way and it gives me stability so that I don't hurt myself further. I also need things like a hind sling and chest sling to help my brother pick me up and put me in an old push wheelchair my mama used before she got her electric one this is how my brother walks me to the vet. You see I can't be picked up just anyway. If I am picked up incorrectly and bent wrong it can worsen my condition and seriously damaged my spine more than it already is which could leave me to full paralysis forever. We don't want that. I don't want that. One day I look forward to being able to run and play and kiss my mom and brother again. But I won't be able to do that on my own. I need your help because I will need a dog wheelchair to get around, so that I can run and play even though it may take some time getting used to. Plus it makes caring for me easier. And I won't have to keep getting picked up and carried and risking extra permanent damage to other parts of my spin and body. The cost of medications are not that much but it adds up. Having some support getting those medications would give me relief because my mom is stressed out and it shows. I want to see her smile and be happy again. Even though she smiles in front of me and tries to stay strong I sense these things, most fur baby's do. so I know she's not okay even though she pretends and still sings me lullabies when I don't feel good. I don't think she's stressed out like the kind of stress that makes people angry she's stressed out and overwhelmed because she's afraid and she's scared for me. You see I was a service dog before. I helped my mom do things and get things as well as warn her before she has a medical episode or attack and flair. I was diagnosed with IVDD. Now I am considered a retired service dog. Now I'm the one needing service. If you feel it in your heart to help me and my mom and my brother to improve or slightly restore my way of living so that I can have a happy and productive life, I would love to just give you a big doggie kiss and say thank you in advance. You see we really need your help and we can't do it alone. Getting this help is a big lift of morale. We promise to pay it forward and be ever so grateful. Thank you for listening to me and thank you for paying attention and spending time to know a little bit about me and my struggles. now I'm like my mom she's in a wheelchair and I will need one too. Now my brother is taking care of both of us so if you want to help out in any way we appreciate it but I do have a request if possible. It may be asking too much and maybe I'm going overboard but my brother is the best brother in the world. He's taking care of my mom and I and both of us are incontinent and wheelchairs. Well I'm still pending one but I hope soon. that's a lot of work for a 20-year-old boy who works full-time and still takes care of his mom and his dog brother. So if you could do something special for my brother like I don't know, what ever comes to your heart. this is me just winking and hinting. woff woff. In all fairness, My mom wrote this but I'm sure this is what I would have said. all joking aside we really do need your help and my doggy heart will jump for joy because that's the only way I will be jumping from now on. You and your assistance is our only hope for me to be able to function and to have the things that I need. And if you want to throw in a doggy toy or treat I would love that too.
