Support Charmaine coming out of Covid

During the time of Covid I reached out to people in my life asking if they needed any help.  Here is an excerpt from a response I received from my Coming To The Table friend Charmain. ("Coming To The Table" is an organization dedicated to the purpose of effectuating and promoting racial healing and social change.)

"As you know, the pandemic and the shut down of the economy has caused financial hardship for many including myself...although I don't have food insecurity right now I am dealing with housing insecurity.

I am seeking to find a new home...the social condition has hit hard for many...it's caused a domino effect... As for me I've depleted my savings, and  am at risk of being displaced day by day, it's very Scary. 

Every day I'm waiting for funds to come in from previous work I've done as a professional insurance and business management coach and school counselor, a job I've had for many years....it's now gone, bye, bye as a result of covid-19. Platforms have changed and regrouping is a process...with people so scared to connect in ways that used to be...

I mentioned on our call about having had a car accident 2 months ago, I was nearly killed, only by the grace of God did I walk away. I'm on the mend medically but without a car my means to cure my own dilemma has been excessively difficult to recover, its an additional set back...

Sad to say, I'm displaced from the effects of the pandemic last year after previously being carjacked robbed and identity stolen in September 2019...I tell you no lie...

I'm humbling myself and eating my pride to reach out for assistance...I welcome it all, gratefully...I know with some help things will work out...

Thank you so much for reaching out...hunger for food isn't my need now and hope that it isnt...but I will say, I'm  eating less to pay my hotel stay now...I'd rather have a roof over my head. 

I didn't mean to be long winded here...

Nevertheless, I'm holding up as best I can, looking for meaningful work and focused upon some personal fundraising for my hardship and for other hidden homeless women I am advocating for in spite of my own trial. 

If you can help in anyway, to lead me to resources or contribute financially, I'd certainly appreciate it...

Sometimes, we fall on hard times, we don't need judgement or to be discriminated against, we need an olive branch...I'm in that line at this moment reaching out...

As for my immediate need, I'm open to take a temporary place in a home with bath, kitchen and laundry access....let me know please
