Support Charlotte's Search for Health Solutions

Hi Everyone,

Most of you know that Charlotte recently had surgery to address the endometriosis she's been suffering from for years. That procedure was thankfully very successful; they were able to remove the affected tissue and she has had a good amount of relief from that particular type of pain. While this is a huge step towards figuring out Charlotte's health, it was only part of the puzzle.

In addition to that surgery, she has had an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and HIDA scan done for the gastroenterologist, who was able to remove a large, pre-cancerous polyp and finally diagnose a particular form of colitis that amazingly has an actual treatment (which she is now in the middle of).

She is also seeing a cardiologist to investigate why her resting heart rate can be so high, and why she so frequently has episodes of such extreme fatigue and dizziness that she nearly loses consciousness. She has had a heart rate monitor and will have an EKG before we meet with the cardiologist again.

Charlotte has also always had trouble sleeping, and struggled with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. We've tried all kinds of sleep aids and anxiety medications, which has left her with a complex list of daily medications that are not even guaranteed to work every night. We are beginning to look into sleep specialists and alternative treatment options to address the anxiety, traumatic memories, and insomnia, and reduce the list of medications as much as possible.

Each of these specialists (between appointments, tests, procedures, and medications) costs thousands of dollars. We're asking for help now with these bills as we continue to search for answers and solutions. Any little bit helps, and every little bit is worth it.

Charlotte has pushed through these complex symptoms for as long as she could, which was exhausting to the point that she has been unable to work, and many days is unable to function through the pain and fatigue. We have no choice but to keep pushing for answers now to restore Charlotte's health and quality of life. We greatly appreciate any and all support as we continue to search for answers.
