Hello, my name is Jocelyn Cox, and I am raising funds for my sweet sister, Charlotte Hanosky.

Charlotte is currently in the ICU recovering from brain surgery to remove a tumor on her pituitary gland. After months of hoping medication would successfully shrink the tumor, it unfortunately proved ineffective while also causing intense side effects. Because of the tumor’s size and delicate location, her doctors made the decision to move forward with surgery. The procedure required two surgeons due to its complexity, making it especially costly.

We are incredibly grateful that the tumor was successfully removed. However, her surgeons needed to break her nose in order to access the tumor which has caused significant pain. She also had a spinal fluid leak during surgery so she is currently on bed rest in the ICU. She is expected to remain in the hospital for at least another week and will then need an additional 4–6 weeks of recovery at home under close medical supervision.

During this time, her husband, Karson, is taking time away from work to care for Charlotte and their five year old child. As you can imagine, the combination of multiple medical bills, lost income, food, daily living expenses, and transportation costs is overwhelming.
