Support Charlotte's Journey Through Illness

Charlotte turned 18 years old in January and was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma shortly after. She had been feeling ill for months, but her medical providers could not determine the cause of her symptoms in the months leading up to her diagnosis. She was in a lot of pain, so we decided to go to the Urgency Room. It was there where they discovered 4 large tumors in her body. We are so thankful for the team at the Urgency Room in Woodbury and for Mayo Clinic for taking Charlotte under their care.
The cancer journey has been extremely difficult and honestly quite terrifying. Charlotte started her 1st chemo treatment at Mayo Clinic on February 14th, and we are hopeful she will be done with these by August. Charlotte gets chemotherapy every other week and has 7 treatments left.
Charlotte is restricted to most normal activities of a girl her age. She spends most of her time at home and her energy level remains extremely low. Charlotte is very ambitious and has been working as a Host at Hell’s Kitchen in Minneapolis while she finished her senior year of high school. Unfortunately, she had to reduce her hours due to her illness, treatments and extreme fatigue.
Charlottes dream is to study psychology and to open a treatment facility for young adults to combat mental health. We are hopeful Charlotte will be able to graduate on time.
My heart goes out to young people who had to live through the pandemic, and for Charlotte her journey of distancing and being remote continues.
We appreciate any assistance as Charlotte goes through this journey in her life. The power of prayer is undeniable, so we would greatly appreciate prayers and positive wellbeing for Charlotte as we continue to go through the scariest and time of our lives.
We will update Charlottes page as she continues on her journey.
Thank you all for your support, love and prayers.
