Charlotte Huston is 4 years old and has recently been diagnosed with a type of pediatric cancer called neuroblastoma. She is currently receiving care from a champion team of doctors and nurses at Rochester’s Golisano Children’s hospital. Charlotte will undergo many rounds of chemotherapy starting September 3rd. Chemotherapy may take several months to possibly a year before she can have surgery to remove the cancerous tumor.
Charlotte is a big sister to Jack who was born just one week before she was admitted to the hospital and a seasoned big sister to her sidekick Hannah who is two years old. Charlotte was supposed to be starting Kindergarten, a big journey her parents were excited for her to embark on, not starting chemotherapy.
Holly and Zach have a mountain to climb with this new diagnosis and are doing their best to navigate through these uncharted waters. They are each driving back and forth to the hospital daily so one parent can be with Charlotte and the other with Hannah and Jack. They are so thankful for all the support shown already and are so appreciative of your prayers and acts of kindness. Any donation will help relieve stress of medical bills, gas money to and from the hospital and groceries, etc. A simple prayer or thought of well being is enough and appreciated just as much.
This community is so wealthy in compassion and has surrounded us with love and support many times over. Thank you immensely for considering donating to help Holly and Zach while they focus on Charlotte’s health.
Charlotte is strong like rays of sunshine on a summer day, she is as mighty as the wind, and she is soft as her beloved Cheetah. This donation fund is being organized by the many woven, loving threads of people that surround her with strength and encouragement.
