Help Charlotte and Her Family During Her Surgery Recovery
Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We’re asking for help and prayers for Charlotte Jones, a joyful, artistic, and hilariously funny 6-year-old who loves pulling pranks and making people smile. Charlotte is also a twin, and her sister is her built-in best friend and biggest fan.
Charlotte has been diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1, a condition that’s causing tumors to grow along her vagus nerve, extending into her tongue and ear. On July 15th, she will undergo a serious surgery to remove part of the tumor from her tongue, as well as receive a tracheostomy to help her breathe.
She will be in the hospital for at least two weeks, beginning with a stay in the Pediatric ICU. Both of her parents will be by her side full-time during this difficult recovery, which means time away from work and mounting financial pressure.
We’re raising funds to help with:
Monthly bills while both parents are unable to work
UNC hospital parking, which is costly and adds up quickly
Meals and necessities during their stay at the hospital
Charlotte is brave and strong, but this is a heavy road for such a little girl. Any support — whether through donations, shares, or prayers — means the world to this family.
Thank you for standing with Charlotte and helping ease the load so her parents can focus fully on her healing. ❤️
With love and gratitude,
The Jones Family
