Support Charli's Fight Against FIP

Story

Hello everyone! This is Hannah's sister Grace. I'm making this page to help financially support them with their current and upcoming vet bills (ignoring their wishes for me to not do so). Unfortunately only after a month and a half of having Charli (their beautiful brown kitty) she has developed what's called Neurological Dry FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). Here is a video showing Charli's walk and her big brother Zeke ❤️. Charli's Walking Video This will be a long journey with many injections and vet visits. There is a lot of misinformation when it comes to FIP but there are some amazing organizations called FIP Warriors and Misfit Felines (in Madison) and they have helped us get started on this journey. On 9/20/2024 Hannah sent me some videos of Charli not walking quite right. We thought maybe she pinched a nerve. After 2 days she got significantly worse, she developed Pica (eating her cat littler), her pupils were uneven sizes, and her wobbliness got worse. Worse to the point where now she falls down the stairs instead of walking. Charli will now be getting an injection to help fight FIP 2 times a day for a few days and then once a day for a total of 84 days. We started her on injections on 9/22/2024 and they will end on 12/15/2024. The injections are painful to both Charli and her family. Every 4 weeks she will need to go to the vet to get blood work completed. The FIP warriors group helps us keep track of blood work and injections. Unfortunately none of this is cheap and it requires a lot of time and money. Cost Breakdown: Injection Medication: $350-$700 depending on how much and how long we need to do it for. Supplies: $100-$300 (possibly more this is just an estimate) We are very fortunate that Tabby Town has given us supplies that we would love to donate back. Vet Bills so far: $250- Charli will need blood work every 4 weeks for roughly 6 months to monitor how she is doing. Future Vet Bills: Roughly $1250 if each visit is around $250 and there being 5 more visits. Anything you donate will go to Charli's care and anything not used will be donated to Misfit Felines for all the amazing work they do with FIP cats and their generosity. Thank you from a very stubborn sister Grace and the Hickok family ❤️ FIP Warriors Kitten Lady FIP
