Charlie, my husband, has always been a fighter, but the past few weeks have tested his strength like never before. On February 9th, Charlie suffered his second heart attack, and the very next day, he underwent a triple bypass surgery. While the surgery was successful, his lungs struggled to recover, and he was placed on a ventilator and kept under sedation for over two weeks. On February 25th, we were hopeful as he began to improve, but just two days later, he had to be put back on the ventilator and sedated again. The doctors remain optimistic that Charlie will heal and return to his baseline, but his recovery is taking longer than anyone expected.

This journey has been incredibly hard on our family, both emotionally and financially. All funds raised will go directly toward travel costs so I can be by Charlie’s side, as well as mounting medical expenses that continue to grow each day. Your support will help ease the burden and allow us to focus on Charlie’s healing and getting him home where he belongs.
