Hi, my name is Charlie! I would love if you could take a second to read my story and learn about my heart for service. I’m currently studying nursing at Grand Canyon University. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a heart for serving others, and as I’ve grown in my faith, that desire has only deepened. I truly love the Lord and want my life to reflect Him in the way I love and care for people.

Recently, I’ve felt a strong calling on my heart to go serve on a mission trip to Costa Rica. This isn’t just a trip to me — it’s an opportunity to step out in faith, to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and to serve communities with humility and love. I believe God has placed this opportunity in front of me for a reason, and I want to be obedient to where He is leading.

As a nursing student, I’m passionate about caring for others physically, but this trip is also about caring for people spiritually and emotionally — meeting them where they are and sharing hope.
