Support Charlie's Journey to Health and Happiness

At the beginning of August, I came across a small dog wandering alone, looking lost and in need of help. Concerned, I took him to the local shelter, hoping to find his owner through a microchip. Unfortunately, there was no microchip, and I couldn’t bring myself to leave him there, so I gave the shelter my contact information, just in case. The next day, I got a call from the owner, and the little guy would be back home soon.

However, two weeks later, I was surprised to see him posted on the Ring app as being spotted around town again. I immediately set out to find him and, thankfully, I was able to bring him back. I contacted the owner, only to learn that the dog actually belonged to her boyfriend, who was no longer able to take care of him. She was willing to take him in, but with three dogs of her own—two of which might not be so welcoming—it wasn’t a safe option for him.

He needed to go to the vet for a checkup and to have an infection looked at, and he is now on the antibiotics he needed. It was then that I learned Charlie, as we’re now calling him, needed some urgent dental work. The vet informed me that he’d likely lose quite a few teeth and that the procedure would cost around $2,200. At 8 years old, it seems Charlie has never had a proper dental cleaning, and he's already missing the top teeth between his canines, likely from falling out.

Charlie is a sweet little dog who deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life. I’m doing everything I can to help him, but I need your support to cover the cost of his dental surgery.
