Hello, I am raising funds for my son, Charlie, to receive gender affirming top surgery.

He let me in on this journey 5 years ago. In that time, we moved away from a very conservative state, and have built a new and supportive community. Charlie recently went to court to legally change his name and gender markers.

We have completed the consultation needed for top surgery, and will be able to get it completed the summer between his Junior and Senior year of high school. However, the company that will perform the surgery will not take insurance. There are other companies that will take insurance, however due to new policy changes they will not accept any clients under 17 years old.

Charlie and I are hopeful that we can raise enough funds so that he can start his last year of high school feeling like his true self, confident in his body and living his best life.
