Hi everyone, our names are Natalie, Sammy and Kaitlyn. We are asking for help for our sweet dog, Charlie.

On Wednesday night while having family time. I was cooking burgers at home, Charlie managed to ingest a large piece of burger meat. Within moments, she started vomiting repeatedly and was clearly in severe distress. It was nonstop and terrifying to watch. I rushed her to the emergency veterinary hospital that same night.

After multiple tests, exams, and monitoring, the veterinarians determined that Charlie has developed pneumonia and also has a blockage in her esophagus. She is struggling and needs urgent medical treatment and continued care to recover.

Since that night, I’ve been going back and forth between hospitals, getting second opinions, and making countless calls trying to figure out the best way to help her. At this point we’ve maxed out our finances trying to cover the emergency visits, testing, and treatment so far. I’m doing everything I can to help her keep fighting but I’m reaching a point where we’ve hit our limit.

Charlie is such a loving, happy dog and truly part of my family. Seeing her go through this has been heartbreaking, and all I want is to give her the chance to heal and come back home healthy.
