Charlie Wolfe has been a pillar of this community for over a decade now. Owning the Iron Bridge General Store & Cafe, Aska Gem Mining, and Blue Ridge Tubing. Always giving back, helping when anyone needs anything, bringing tourists food to cabins when they’re snowed in, pulling people out of ditches, checking people’s pipes during the winter, taking care of their animals, etc.

Now is our time to give back.

Charlie was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on May 15, 2026. His birthday. While he and his wife have basic insurance, insurance only covers so much when it comes to a minimum of 3 doctor visits a week, chemotherapy treatments, co-pays, medication costs, the cost of gas to drive to these appointments every week, and much, much more. This all adds up. His wife, Kimberly Wolfe, not only has to pay for all of that with Charlie, but her mother also has cancer and a lot of the same issues lie there. Kim has been hit hard with the expenses of both Charlie and her mother’s medical bills.

Kim and Charlie have changed the meaning of the “Aska Adventure Area” in Blue Ridge, GA, and it is our time to give back and try and give them a little bit of relief.
