Many of you are already familiar with Charlie Rose's medical journey. To update everyone who is not familiar, our sweet girl was once diagnosed with retinoblastomas in both of her eyes. God has been so good throughout her journey. With additional eye ultrasounds and exams, her specialist did not see any cancerous retinoblastomas. However, she did have bilateral hemorrhages in her eyes and a partial retinal detachment in her right eye that required multiple surgeries. Our baby girl underwent a total of 6 surgeries last year in 2024; it was a challenging year. In February, we found out at a follow-up appointment with one of her specialists in Fort Worth that she will be needing an additional surgery. It is not the news we wanted to hear, but we know God has a greater plan for Charlie Rose. Her surgery is scheduled for March 20th in Dallas. Unfortunately, this procedure is not covered by my insurance. We have called about payment plans, and they do not offer payment plans for self-pay patients. The total of her surgery will be $7,000. I have had many people reach out to know how they can help with costs, so I have put together a GoFundMe for our Charlie girl. All and any amount of donations would be greatly appreciated.
