Hi, I am Charlie Norris and I am a 3rd degree black belt. I have been training in Taekwondo for 11 years. I am currently training/assistant teaching at Barrett’s ATA Martial Arts, and I am completing the requirements to be a certified instructor and a 4th degree black belt. I am honored to be a member of the 2026 Team ATA-USA Varsity Sparring Team. This is my 2nd year on Team USA. I will be competing at the World Championships in Phoenix this July, and also traveling to Argentina for the Pan-American Championships next fall.

Last year, thanks to all the generous donations, I was able to compete at the World Championships and our team got the gold! I placed first in the Super 20 World Tournament as well. I got to travel to Brazil for the Pan-Am Championships, and our team got the gold again, and I placed 2nd in the individual competition.

This competition year, I am currently in the top ten for the world in my age group, and 2nd in Texas. I am believing this will be my best year yet!
