HELP US LAY OUR FATHER TO REST

Our father, Charlie Medlicott, passed away last month unexpectedly in his home in Honolulu, Hawaii. His passing was unattended, and with no will or arrangements in place, we are now faced with the heavy responsibility of handling everything out of pocket.

The costs include extensive cleaning of his home, mortuary arrangements, legal and other unforeseen expenses, as well as loss of wages while Fred and Megan take time to grieve and attempt to put affairs in order.

It is more than we can manage alone. We are humbly asking for support from friends, family and his community to help us give Charlie the send off he deserves.

We want to especially thank the family who have already contributed assistance with travel expenses so we could be together during this time.

Our father had a long career in marine safety, and he took his responsibility to the communities and mariners he served very seriously. We are both very proud of his work and his diligent and earnest commitment to preventing tragedy at sea. We know he saved many lives, spared many more from injury, and left an impression on everyone he met.
