Support Charlie in Eating Disorder Treatment

As some of you may already know, I struggle with Anorexia Nervosa, along with many other mental illnesses. Due to these conditions, I have been hospitalized 16 times in the last 2 years. My 2019 was an especially difficult year, as I was hospitalized 5 times for my eating disorder, and once for depression. My life has been disrupted by these hospital stays and health emergencies in more ways than I could imagine: I have had to withdraw from college for a total of 4 semesters; I have been unable to work since March this year; I have been homeless multiple times and survived through the generosity and support of friends. And as you might know, eating disorder treatment is unfortunately extremely costly. At one point, I didn't have enough money simply for a ride to the hospital.

This is a screenshot from my insurance account, showing that I am responsible for a $7,400 bill, from 4 months-worth of intensive, residential treatment, which you can imagine is an amount I can in no way afford at the moment.


As I am in the States on a student visa, I do not qualify for any state-provided grants or aids. So, I'm asking for donations to support me through the journey of recovering from anorexia. Your donation will go towards paying part of my medical bills, but also to help me get back on my feet with daily expenses like grocery and travel, and find the stability in my life that is crucial for my recovery.
