On what began as a fun summer day with his family, Charlie Doyal—a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend—suffered a devastating accident that has changed his life forever.

Charlie was enjoying a swimming session at the pool when an unfortunate accident occurred. A routine dive turned into a life-altering injury. He sustained a burst fracture to his C-5 and is now facing the immense challenge of living with paralysis. Charlie’s journey from this point forward will be filled with unimaginable physical and emotional hurdles, but we believe in his strength and his unwavering love for his wife and two beautiful children—Allison (7) and Jackson (5).

Known for his infectious smile, his easygoing personality, and his ability to light up any room he enters, Charlie has always been someone you can count on. Before the accident, he was an active father, spending countless hours playing with Allison and Jackson, building memories, and sharing laughter.

As you can imagine, Charlie's recovery will be a long and challenging road. He will need 24/7 care, specialized medical equipment, and physical therapy to help him adjust to his new reality. His home will need to be modified to accommodate his wheelchair and other mobility needs. On top of that, his children, Allison and Jackson, have been deeply affected by their father’s accident. Charlie's strength and resilience will be tested, but he knows his kids need him to fight.
