Support Charlie and Odin's Emergency Vet Care
Donation protected
Charlie and Odin decided the Friday night fire outside just wasn't exciting enough. Charlie found a porcupine and then decided to go get Odin to show him where it was so they could play together. Odin thought it would be fun to taste test said porcupine while Charlie provided backup. Needless to say, it did not end well for either of them, and we started our 1-hour drive to the emergency vet.
Both dogs will need to be sedated to remove the quills from their face and both front paws.
For Charlie, the estimate is $1,406.10.
For Odin, the estimate is $1,747.63.
These estimates are for treatment and do not include prescription costs associated with recovery.
Additionally, they will both need follow-up visits with our vet in the next week or so, which will have additional costs associated with them.
While normally we would be able to afford this emergency visit, we have had an astronomical number of vet visits this year, and it has quite honestly drained our savings. We do all that we can for as many animals as we can and try to fund this using just our hard-earned money.
Unfortunately, for the first time ever, there is simply no more money in our savings account to cover the costs of these vet bills.
If you are willing and able to donate any amount to their treatment, it would be so unbelievably appreciated. If you can't donate but would be willing to share this with others that may be able to, that would also be immensely appreciated.
We thank you so much for all of your love and support in this crazy journey we have embarked on, and we truly hope the vet bills will calm down soon.
