Support Charlie and Brenda After House Fire
Donation protected
Early, on the morning of March 30, 2025 Charlie and Brenda Gould tragically lost their home of 56 years to a house fire. A home Charlie built himself and they have raised their children, grandchild and great grandchildren in. The house wasn’t just a structure; it was the place where they raised their family, hosted loved ones, and created memories that will last forever. The fire took it all in an instant. Along with loosing their home they lost irreplaceable keepsakes, cherished memories, and everything that made it home. At 80 and 76 years old, Charlie and Brenda have spent their entire lives in Belfast, Maine. This community has meant everything to them, and it’s hard to imagine a more difficult loss.
While we are grateful that no one was injured, the emotional and financial toll of rebuilding feels overwhelming. Charlie, who has always been a hardworking, humble man, never imagined he would find himself in this position. But now, as they try to rebuild, they need help from the community that has been a part of their lives for so long.
We understand that times are tough for everyone, and there’s no obligation to donate. But if you are able and feel moved to help, it would be appreciated. The funds raised here will go directly toward temporary housing, basic needs, and rebuilding efforts. Every little bit adds up, and your support, in any form, is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for considering helping them during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page with others, will help bring hope and healing as they begin to rebuild their lives. The family is so thankful for the huge amount of love and support during this difficult time.
