Support Charlie After Donna's Passing

Donation protected
Yesterday morning, July 4th, my husband Matt received a phone call at 5:30 am. A phone call no one ever wants to get. His mom, Donna, had passed away.

His parents, Donna and Charlie, were together since they were teenagers. They were preparing to celebrate her 70th birthday on Monday.

I met Donna 15 years ago, and she immediately accepted me and my 4 kids as her own. She became my kids' Mamaw Donna. She was full of love but wouldn't sugarcoat. She would tell you how it is. She was the exact mother-in-law I wanted, one I could be myself around.

She catered to everyone she loved. You couldn't go to her house and leave empty-handed. Even if she had nothing, she made sure you left with something.

She took care of Charlie, just as most of us wives do with our husbands. They both worked together to take care of each other with very limited income.

Charlie has lost his love, his best friend, the mother of his children, his soulmate, his partner in life. He said it perfectly; he feels like a lost puppy.

He is scared about, at 73, having to learn to live a completely different life and do it alone.

He wants to honor his wife but has limited income. I am asking for help to have a beautiful service to honor her and help with bills and rent for Charlie until we can get him set up on his new path in life.

Anything, including prayers, is greatly appreciated.
