Support Charley Bauer's Fight Against AML
Donation protected
For everyone who knows Charley Bauer, they know just how much of a blessing it is to be in her presence. Charley is nothing short of selfless, kind, hilarious, courageous, and truly magical to be around. Her energy and laughter can light up even the darkest rooms, and she is the best sister, friend, daughter, girlfriend, and student anyone could ask for. Charley just finished her second year as a nursing student at The Ohio State University, where she is a resident advisor, a member of Delta Omega Kappa sorority, and a part of OSU Hillel.
However, on May 11, Charley and her family were struck with the most unexpected and life-changing news. After a trip to the ER for what they thought would just be a strep test, Charley was instead diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). She will be undergoing extensive chemotherapy as part of a clinical trial, fertility treatments, and likely a bone marrow transplant in the upcoming months.
Charley has been transferred to The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio to receive the best care possible. With the AML diagnosis comes many unforeseen expenses including medical bills, housing and travel expenses for the Bauer family, future IVF therapy, and numerous other unanticipated costs. While Charley receives treatment, her family – including her beloved parents and brother, Alyssa, Jeremy, and Jack– will stand by her side, relocating to Columbus to be near her. Our goal is to help the Bauer family out in their time of need, as they have done for so many other families in the past. Please help us fundraise for the Bauer family to ease the financial burden during this difficult time so they can focus on supporting Charley through her fight with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
We would appreciate any donation you are able to make, and we thank you for your thoughts and prayers towards Charley and her family during this time.
