Back in 2016, I was a resident at The Hope when it was situated in West Ashley. One of the standout features of The Hope was its sense of community, particularly through volleyball. During our free time, we had the privilege to engage in volleyball matches, which served as a social hub for The Hope's alumni. Unfortunately, the current Hope facility lacks a volleyball court.

I am currently fundraising to support the Charleston Recovery Center, and any contribution, big or small, will greatly contribute to our cause. My approach involves reaching out to sponsors who can pledge donations for every mile I run in my upcoming triathlon scheduled for June 16th, coincidentally falling on my birthday and Father's Day. I am eager to give back to the organization that not only saved my life but also facilitated my journey back to fatherhood.

The Charleston Recovery Center, Inc. operates residential facilities for individuals dealing with addiction, sober living accommodations, and a food bank. They offer comprehensive in-patient programs for both men and women, focusing on treatment periods lasting from 90 to 360 days, complemented by lifelong aftercare support.
