Support Charles’s Road to Recovery After Open Heart Surgery

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My dad underwent a major open-heart surgery on Monday, March 31st at North Shore University Hospital. The procedure included a double valve replacement and double vessel bypass, a massive operation that we knew would be difficult, but necessary to save his life.

Right now, he remains intubated in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit fighting to recover. The journey ahead is long and uncertain — physically, emotionally, and financially. Between the medical bills, time away from work, and the expected costs of rehabilitation and recovery, my parents will be facing a financial strain that they can’t manage alone.
