Dear friends and family,

My name is Wesley Loring, and I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support for my father, Charles “CB” Loring, who is bravely battling pancreatic cancer.

In March 2025, CB was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since then, he has undergone chemotherapy, and he’s scheduled to begin radiation treatment in October. These past several months have been incredibly challenging for him, but through it all, he has shown unwavering strength and determination. The physical toll of treatment, combined with medical bills, has been a burden that we hope to alleviate with your help.

My Dad is a private man, not one to ask for help, but always the first to offer it. He is an incredible father to my brother Chas and me, a devoted grandfather to Owen, Evee, Ellie, Toby, and Edee, and a loving husband to my mom, Pam. His love, generosity, and presence have shaped our lives in countless ways. He’s always put his family first, giving more than he ever takes, and now, it’s our turn to support him.

As the treatments continue, so will some costs; therefore, this fundraiser is to help cover CB’s medical expenses and travel back and forth from their home to the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center in Morgantown, WV.

We know that many of you care deeply for CB, as he’s touched so many with his kindness, great humor, and selflessness. If you’re able to donate, even the smallest contribution will help lighten the load. If you can’t, sharing this fundraiser with others is just as valuable.
