My name is Charles Kincaid. In May of 2022, I had a massive stroke. I lost all feeling and all movement on my right side, along with my speech. I was even on a feeding tube. If this wasn't bad enough, I literally filled up with blood clots from groin to ankle in both legs, my left arm, and both lungs, which the bottom half of both lungs are still collapsed. I was in the hospital for 6 1/2 weeks. I only had about a 10% chance of survival, but due to the grace of God, I am still here.

Currently, I can now talk. I can walk with a cane, but my right leg and foot still have some impairment, so it is slow and a bit unsteady. I am able to lift my right arm some and have a little movement in my hand.

I am asking for support to help me get the equipment I need to further my recovery. Unfortunately, the equipment I need is not covered by insurance. I am in need of Bioness H200 and Bioness L300. One is for my hand, the other for my leg.

This equipment will help me regain the movement I have lost by helping the brain and the muscles make pathways to communicate with each other. I was recently able to try them out to see how they worked for me, and I was so encouraged by them. To have this equipment would literally change my world.
