My name is Lindsy, and I’m reaching out to ask for support on behalf of my dear friend, Charles Ellis. In 2018, doctors discovered a tumor and advised Charles to seek medical attention. Since then, he has undergone three outpatient surgeries to have the tumor removed. Each time, we were relieved to hear that it was benign. Unfortunately, in April of this year, during what we hoped would be another routine procedure, Charles received devastating news — the tumor had become cancerous. To prevent the cancer from spreading further, Charles has been advised to undergo an aggressive treatment plan, including both chemotherapy and daily radiation over the course of six weeks. As a result, he will be unable to work for up to eight weeks while focusing on his recovery. On top of this emotional and physical toll, Charles is facing mounting financial strain — including medical bills, copays for each radiation session, and daily transportation costs to and from treatment, which takes place five days a week. I’m kindly asking for donations of any amount — big or small — to help ease the financial burden this diagnosis has placed on Charles and his household. Every contribution will go directly toward covering his medical expenses, transportation, and basic living costs during this challenging time.
