On Thursday November 7th, my mom Charlene was involved in a tragic drowning accident in Grand Caymen. She’s currently sedated and ventilated in critical condition in the CCU in Grand Caymen awaiting to be transferred to a facility that can get her the care she needs in South Carolina. She will require a medivac to get her from Grand Caymen to South Carolina, this is a team of advanced care specialists that can manage her care in flight. This flight transfer as well as all the medical bills accumulated throughout the stay in the CCU in Grand Caymen are not covered by insurance and will require large out of pocket costs to our family. We’re hoping that all of our friends and family can help us get mom home and the care she needs going further as she works to overcome whatever deficits she may have as a result.
