My name is Clara Hunt, and Charlena Keels and I have been friends for over 50 years. Charlena has always been active with volunteer efforts in our community throughout her life.

On Tuesday, September 19, she was violently attacked while putting air in a tire in No Troy. She was hit in the head, knocked down, and kicked multiple times by a group of hoodlums. Her car, pocketbook, phone, and grandson's car seat were stolen.

Thankfully, she is recovering, but the trauma from this incident lives on.

Expenses for insurance, car rental, deductibles, and various replacements are adding up. For all she has done for so many, I hope that we can help her following this tragic event.
