Support Charleigh’s fight against Childhood Cancer
Donation protected
We would like to begin a fundraiser for our family members, Taylor and Jordan Speaks, parents of sweet smiley Charleigh.
Charleigh is 10 months old and if you’ve ever met her, you’ve undoubtedly fallen in love with her joyful demeanor and love for her people (especially mommy, daddy, and big brother, Chipper)! After multiple visits with multiple doctors, her parents were finally able to get some answers at Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Though pending biopsy results will give a more definite insight on what the plan will be, Charleigh will be undergoing chemotherapy for an extended period of time. Doctors believe Charleigh has a rare disorder known as Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH). This rare disorder can damage tissue or cause lesions to form in one or more places in the body, and it is not known whether LCH is a form of cancer or a cancer-like disease.
This shocking and scary news will also come with added stressors of medical and travel expenses. We would like to offer this GoFundMe as an opportunity to donate to this family’s health journey. Please donate anything you can to help pay for medical bills/ food while in the hospital/ missed days of work. Every little bit helps! We appreciate anything you can do to help. Please keep them all in your prayers and pass this along to share with others!
