Hi! My name is Ashley and my dog Charlee Rae recently became ill for unknown reasons. We've had every test with the exception of an aspiration and/or biopsy of her liver. Nothing has come back explaining her symptoms, and a lot has been ruled out. Her liver enzymes were through the roof and have come down slightly over the last few days. They are still elevated, but I am hopeful to continue treatment at home after today (9/3/25). If she does not start eating today then we will place an e tube to assist with home care.

With that being said, I will do anything that I possibly can to make sure she has the care she needs to recover and live out her full life. She was my foster fail and has quickly become the love of my life along with her cat brother at home. Anything to help cover the mounting costs is so appreciated. I know there are so many worthy causes out there. Charlee will not forgo treatment even if she does not receive additional outside help. Please do not feel obligated unless you are in a position to help financially. We are also accepting good positive energy in the form of prayers and vibes.

I am so lucky to be this dog's mom. She was heavily abused before I rescued her from being dumped at the humane society during Covid. She was extremely shut down when I first got her. We bonded quickly, and now she is a goofy, flirty, happy girl that is normally food motivated. Her best friends include her cat brother, our mailman, and the 6-year-old neighbor across the street. She used to have an elderly woman spoil her with treats down the street that just recently passed a few months ago. She puts a smile on everyone's face and makes new friends quickly.
