Shed Blood To Save Blood (movie night charity fundraiser)

I'm a former childhood cancer patient and was diagnosed with AML Leukemia at 7 months. When I was receiving treatment my family was financially assisted by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A charity organization dedicated to financially aid blood cancer patients and their families as well as aiding funds into research on effective blood cancer treatments. I'm raising money to hold a small charity event to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by hosting an anniversary movie night at a local theater for the movie Friday the 13th as the movie turns 45 this year. Combining my love for horror movies for my wanting to give back to this organization that helped me and my family in our time of need. The date we’re planning on holding the event would be Friday June 13th (haha) at the palms theater in Waukee and the campaign will end in late April if the goal is not met before that date all money raised will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. If the goal is met any extra donations will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
