Hi, my name is Charisse Green and I'm having a hard time keeping up with my rent in New York City.

I was born and raised in this city. Like many other New Yorkers, I've been suffering from my rent continuing to go up. I'm a senior citizen who retired after working in the public sector for 30 years. I recently had a number of surgeries that have made it had for me to keep afloat financially.
