Help Chapo begin a new life of health and happiness

We are raising funds to help little Chapo start on a new and happy path, after starting life in a very sad situation. A good Samaritan noticed Chapo was living a life of neglect and abuse. His fur was matted and dirty, he appeared starving and emaciated, often screaming in pain, and he ultimately was abandoned. Thankfully he was saved by his good Samaritan. After a much-needed, loving groom from Groomingdales to alleviate the pain from his matted coat, he received emergency veterinary care. The vets who treated Chapo said he has suffered from malnourishment and dehydration, and will need a special and expensive diet to help him return to a healthy weight and good eating habits. He will also need additional vet checkups, vaccinations, and his neuter surgery when he is back in good health. Right now, Chapo is being fostered and loved by the staffs at Groomingdales and Uptown Pup, where he is happy, learning to be a puppy again, and making many new friends. We plan to ultimately find the best possible home for him once he's healthy, confident, and ready for a forever family. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about Chapo's story.
