Hi my name is Chantha, I'm 25 years old. I was born and raised in Cambodia.
Short story about how I grew up: I grew up with a struggle family with a Vietnamese mom. We were really struggle and I remember sometimes we have a bowl of rice to share for 4 people. My family didn't have the ability to send me to English school . I always beg her to but she always answer " we can't". One day a girl from my neighbor invite me to a center where they taught me English and the bible for free. I was very happy and I keep on going to the school for maybe 9 years. Now a little girl who was always want to study the foreign language could speak and write in English good!
The reason why I share this just because I believe that poor or disabilities does not stop them from getting the education they deserve to get. God created us with all different mission work to glorify him.
Love and help no matter how they look or raised.
I have been working as a teacher with an NGO for over 5 years. Through my experience I've noticed that many children who have special needs do not receive the help they need as the knowledge of assisting people with disabilities is still underdeveloped in my country. When a child is born with special needs there is little support for them and their families. As I have become aware of this, God has been growing a vision within me to work and support children with disabilities, their families and their communities. This has motivated me even more to seek an education in this field.
I believe each child deserves an equal opportunity to receive an education.
Germany has given me an opportunity to fulfill my dream of pursuing an education abroad in order to support my country in developing awareness of this issue. However, during my training I will need finances to cover my personal expenses, such as accommodations, food and other expenses.
I would be very grateful if you could walk with and support me on my journey to make this dream come true! Thank you for your support!
