Hi, my name is Chante, and I’m reaching out with hope in my heart and a dream I’m determined to follow.

I’ve always believed in the power of education to change lives — not just mine, but my family’s and the community I hope to serve one day. I’ve worked hard to earn my place in college, and I’m ready to give it everything I have. But the financial cost of higher education is something my parents are simply not in a position to carry — and I don’t want that burden to fall on their shoulders.

They’ve given me everything they could, and now I’m doing my best to take the next step on my own — with a little help from others who believe in the value of hard work, education, and second chances.

A little more about my goals and vision:

I’m going to college for a degree in business management and marketing because I truly believe that education is a powerful tool—one that can help me make better decisions, especially when it comes to managing money and running a business. Back in high school, I took a variety of classes, but the one that really caught my attention was accounting. It was there that I realized how valuable a solid understanding of finances is, and that’s when I knew I wanted to pursue a degree that could help me navigate the world of business.

But it’s not just about personal success for me. I think a lot about how these skills can benefit my tribe. The ability to manage money wisely and strategically is essential for keeping the community strong, and marketing can help us connect with more people while staying true to our culture. I want to use what I learn to help our tribe grow and thrive, both financially and culturally, by making smart decisions and sharing our story in a way that honors who we are.
