My name is Chanta Rucker, and I am reaching out for help as I face one of the most difficult times in my life. I was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer, specifically medullary carcinoma of the bones. Since receiving this diagnosis, my life has changed dramatically. I am no longer able to move around like I used to, and every day brings new challenges as I adjust to this reality. The physical and emotional toll has been overwhelming, but I am determined to keep fighting.

One of the biggest hurdles I am facing is the financial strain that comes with ongoing treatments. I need to travel regularly to the Columbus Cancer Center for care, and many of the treatments and medications I require are not covered by insurance. The costs of medical bills, gas for travel, and essential medications are adding up quickly, making it difficult to focus on my health and recovery.
