Support Channy's Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Dear All,
Many of you know Channy / Kim as someone who makes her presence known once she walks into a room and fills the space with high energy and laughter. There is no doubt that you’ve taken part in the many laughs, tears, and family meals with her.
Channy holds many roles in our family — a daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and most importantly, a mother to two beautiful boys, ages 13 and 13 months.
A few months after giving birth to her youngest, she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in October 2024. Shortly afterwards, she underwent two surgeries.
While the news left many of us with mixed emotions, we remained hopeful while she began her chemotherapy journey.
In the midst of postpartum and ongoing treatments, she had been terminated from her employment of nearly 20 years due to the time taken off to recover from postpartum and chemotherapy.
Despite the surrounding circumstances, hope and excitement grew as she continued with her chemotherapy.
After going in for new scans, she received a call in late March 2025 from her medical provider — the cancer metastasized (spread) and the treatment wasn't successful. As a result, she is now at stage 4. She was offered an alternative treatment to slow down the cancer, but her time may be limited.
We are devastated by this update but still determined to remain strong and supportive of Channy and her children.
The medical expenses and daily challenges are overwhelming, and we want to ensure they have the support they need during this time.
We are asking for your generosity and support in any form. Any contribution will make an impact towards covering treatment, medications, and other associated costs. Whether you donate or share this campaign, every bit helps.
Thank you for your kindness and for standing with us during this challenging time.
With gratitude,
The Ourng and Long family
