My name is Charissa Phillips. I started this GoFundMe page with the help of my father, Chuck Phillips, on behalf of my sister, Chantal (Channi) Obendorf. We are trying to help raise money for Channi's medical expenses, lost wages, and her cost of living through this painful process.

Channi is fighting breast cancer and needs a double mastectomy, including other treatments. On May 7, 2025, after numerous exams, her doctor noticed several cancerous spots on her spine that spread to her bones. She went from stage 2 to stage 4 cancer. Channi will have to have many more medical procedures done over an extended period of time, and she needs as much support as possible.
