We are pulling all resources together to get our sweet friend, Chanin Henry, to the Hope4Cancer Treatment Center in Cancun, Mexico as soon as possible. Chanin Henry is my sister in law who is married to my brother Steven Henry jr who the funds will be going into his account to pay Hope for Cancer where the funds will be paying her housing , transportation, food, six days a week she will be having treatment at Hope for Cancer . Which includes laser therapy, infusions, hyperbaric chamber among many other treatments daily . These are just a few.
After Chanin's initial diagnosis of B Cell Follicular Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2017, she has since gone through multiple treatment plans that have put her in remission for short amounts of time. She received the devastating news in May of 2024 that she was once again out of remission. Her doctors agreed to closely monitor her condition after this diagnosis, and hold off on treatment. With a recent PET scan she learned her tumors have doubled in size within the last three months, and she must start treatment quickly. Her cancer is growing at a more rapid rate than ever before and her oncologist has said her remaining options are limited. With few treatment options available in the United States for Chanin's form of cancer, she has turned to the Hope4Cancer Treatment Center in Cancun, Mexico. A renowned facility offering a wide range of therapies under one roof. Unfortunately, since this facility is outside of the country, insurance cannot help with the cost. The specialists at this hospital have reviewed Chanin's medical records and laid out a treatment plan to begin once she has gathered the funds. The team at Hope4Cancer has successfully treated patients with this same cancer and helped many achieve and maintain remission. They are confident they can do the same with Chanin.
Chanin is the mother of 12 children, with ages ranging from 33 years old to her youngest, who is 12. She is "Nana" to her soon to be 15 grandchildren, who she loves dearly. Although she is a mother first, through extensive prayer she has come to the hard realization that she must prioritize her health. To do this she will need to spend a month at the Hope4Cancer facility in Cancun, Mexico receiving daily treatments tailored to her specific illness.
We are urgently calling upon the generosity of our community to raise $82,000 to cover the cost of Chanin's life-saving treatment. The money raised will pay for her month long treatment, housing, food, and travel. If there are any donations beyond the goal they will go toward supporting the five children still at home while her and her husband are away. Every contribution can make a profound difference in her fight against cancer. If everyone could contribute, large or small, we could alleviate the financial burden and allow Chanin and her family to focus on her recovery. You can contribute by donating, sharing this page, and keeping Chanin and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
To know Chanin is to love her and her kind heart. She has continued to be strong and inspirational to her family throughout this journey. When most people would give up, she continues to say "Jesus I Trust in You." Please consider repaying the kindness she has shown you by donating to support her cause.
Thank you, and may God bless Chanin and all those fighting this battle.
