I'm fundraising to support Enabling Peace in Iraq Center (EPIC), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports Iraqi activists working to build peace, create a more accountable government, and tackle crises like the impacts of climate change.

Those activists include Tali, a young woman who helped create the first crosswalk in Sinjar to raise awareness about residents with disabilities; Lubna, another young woman from Ninewa who is helping her community heal and recover from years of conflict; and Salman, organizing a campaign to stop the degradation of the Tigris River.

EPIC supports these change-makers through training in advocacy and communications, arming them with data from our critical research (like our climate briefing and report on Iraq's popular movement for reform), and amplifying their voices in the U.S. and international community.

With your help, we will make an even more significant impact by reaching a new group of activists responding to climate change. We have the tools in place and staff ready to go. We just need the help of visionary supporters like you to fund it.
