Hi, my name is Shakira Sheppard, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my family to ask for your support during a very difficult time.

Our father, Changa Sheppard, has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer — a devastating diagnosis made even harder by the fact that this is his second battle with cancer. In 2014, he courageously fought and beat colon cancer, and now, over a decade later, he's being called to fight once again.

Changa is not just our dad — he's a proud father of four and a loving grandfather of six. He's also been the sole provider for our family for many years, working hard every day to keep us all going.

With surgery and treatment ahead, he'll be forced to take time off work, leaving our family without the income we rely on to cover basic needs and growing medical expenses.

Our mother is unable to work full-time due to chronic pain, which makes the financial strain even more intense during this time.

We're setting up this fundraiser to help cover:
